A. It is safe to burn your personalized, custom Photo Candle as
long as you follow our Candle Care burning instructions:
Never leave a burning Photo Candle unattended.
Never burn a Photo Candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time.
Never burn the last 1/2" of a Photo Candle.
Keep Photo Candles away from drafts, vents and flammable objects.
Keep Photo Candles out of reach of children and pets.
Keep matches and other debris out of your Photo Candles.
Always burn Photo Candles on a protected heat-resistant surface.
Always keep your Photo Candle wick centered and trimmed to 1/4".
Extinguish all Photo Candles carefully.
Keep Photo Candles out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
Q. How can I create “The Glow” inside my
personalized, custom Photo Candles? A.
When lighting your personalized, custom Photo Candles for the first time, let the wax pool
reach no less than 1/4" from the Photo Candle’s edge, extinguish
the flame and
allow the Photo Candle to harden before relighting. This will prevent
leaking by building a strong shell around the Photo Candle's perimeter.
Q. Can I send photos to Goody Candles via postal mail or email?
A.
Postal Mail - Yes, we now accept photos via postal mail. Please mail your
photos with your ordering instructions and payment to: Goody
Candles, 453 N. Main St. #187, Southington, CT 06489. To avoid
damage to your photos please make sure your package is stiff by
including a piece of cardboard or other stiff material and write DO
NOT BEND on your package. Be sure to either include all of your
order details with your photo or include our order form. You can
obtain an order form via email from
orders@goodycandles.com.
We will reply to your email with an order form attached so please
add our email address to your address book so you receive our reply
in your inbox. We will return your original photo with your order. Email - Yes, we now accept photos via email. Please email
your photos with your ordering instructions to

We will invoice you via PayPal (you do not need a PayPal account to
pay this invoice.). Be sure to either include all of your order
details with your photo or include our order form. You can obtain an

book so you receive our reply in your inbox.
Q. Do Goody Candles personalized, custom Photo Candles drip? A. If the Candle Care burning instructions are followed the
candle will not drip. Goody Candles Photo Candles contain an outer
layer of wax that is formulated to melt at a higher temperature than
the inner wax thus creating a hard outside shell of wax.
Q. What is the best way to extinguish my personalized, custom
Photo Candles? A. The best way to extinguish any candle is to use a candle
snuffer. If you must blow the candle out, do so gently, so the
melted wax won’t splash out of the candle. Do not use water to
extinguish your candle because the melted wax will react with the
water and spatter. This is very dangerous.
Q. How can I keep my personalized, custom Photo Candles looking like new?
A. Goody Candles recommends displaying your Photo Candles in an
area free from direct sunlight or other strong illumination. Doing
this will prevent fading and discoloration and help your Photo
Candle last for years to come.
Q. Why does my personalized, custom Photo Candle wick form a mushroom shape?
A. When your candle is consuming more wax than the flame can
efficiently burn a mushroom shaped wick results. This phenomenon
usually takes place when the visible wick is longer than 1/4". To
prevent this from happening, keep the visible wick centered and
trimmed to 1/4". Keep the wick trimmings and other debris out of the
candle.
Q. Do Goody Candles personalized, custom Photo Candles contain lead-free wicks?
A. Yes, our Photo Candles contain lead-free wicks. At Goody
Candles, we are dedicated to creating high quality products that do
not have a negative impact on our environment.
Q. How do I personalize my Photo Candle gift?
A. Our technology allows you to create a one-of-a-kind,
personalized Photo
Candle with your own photos, artwork, digital graphics and text. Names, dates, poems and messages along with your photo or artwork
add a personal touch. It is possible to create a text-only or
photo-only candle as well.
To personalize your candle, choose a candle layout from the Photo
Candle Gallery or a template in the Photo Candle Design Center.
You will then have
options to choose a border, upload your image and enter your
text. You will be able to view your finished candle design to
confirm your choices before ordering.
Q. Is it possible to design my own layout for my personalized,
custom Photo Candles?
A. The great thing about Goody Candles’ technology is that it
allows us to manufacture your Photo Candle with just about any
design or layout you desire. Let your imagination run wild! Please
contact our design team at

design. We will provide you tips to create a Photo Candle-friendly
design and work with you to manufacture your Photo Candles to your
exact specifications.
Q. Does Goody Candles enhance my photo before making a
personalized, custom Photo Candle gift?
A. Goody Candles does not enhance your photo. We recommend
editing your photos (red-eye removal, color correction, etc.) before
uploading them to our website. Once uploaded, you can rotate,
flip, sharpen, convert your image to black & white and crop your
image (Use cropping to enlarge your image.) to meet your
requirements.
Q. What resolution should my image be for my personalized, custom
Photo Candles?
A. We recommend a photo or image with a resolution of at least 300 dpi
but we prefer 600 dpi for the best quality. Most digital cameras’
medium quality setting will suffice. We will automatically check the
resolution of the photo you choose for your Photo Candle to
determine whether or not it meets our minimum requirement.
Q. What should the file format of my photo or artwork be for my
personalized, custom Photo Candles?
A. We can accept images that are in JPG, EPS and TIFF format.
Q. Can I use black & white and sepia tone photos to create my
personalized, custom Photo Candle gifts?
A. Yes, you can use black & white and sepia tone photos. Some of
our favorite Photo Candle designs use black & white and sepia tone
images. Clipart, drawings and just about any graphic you have on
your computer can also be used.
Q. Does Goody Candles ever have Special Offers or Sales on
personalized, custom Photo Candles?
A. Goody Candles has a
Special Offers page that lists our
current special offers, sales and discounts. If you have registered
with our website, you will receive special offers via email as well. Most sales and special offers are automatically activated when you
log in to your account.
Q. Does Goody Candles charge any additional fees?
A. No. At Goody Candles we don’t believe in hidden charges and
fees. Our superior technology and people help us to run a lean and
efficient operation. What does that mean to you? It means that we
deliver the best possible quality to you at the lowest price,

Q. Is there a minimum quantity of personalized, custom Photo
Candle gifts I must
order?
A. No, there is no minimum quantity of Photo Candles you must
order. You can order one or one thousand. However, we do offer a
discount when you order at least 12 Photo Candles.
Q. Can I change my personalized, custom Photo Candle design after my order has been
placed?
A. Once your order has been received we begin our manufacturing
process so we can deliver your Photo Candle to you as soon as
possible. We will do our best to accommodate your changes. To
eliminate the need to make changes to your order please make sure
that you review all of your information prior to finalizing your
order and checking out. If you need to change your order for any
reason we provide you with the option to do so before you checkout.
Q. How long will it take to have my personalized, custom Photo Candle gifts
delivered?
A. Your personalized, custom Photo Candles will be delivered within 2 weeks.

It takes five business days from when we receive your order to
manufacture your one-of-kind, personalized Photo Candles. From that point, please
allow 2-5 business days for your Photo Candles to arrive from our
manufacturing facility in Connecticut via standard FedEx delivery. You have the option to select a faster method of delivery before
finalizing your order. As soon as we ship your Photo Candle we will
send you an email confirmation with a tracking number so you will
know the exact day your Photo Candle will be delivered to you.
Q. Can I ship a personalized, custom Photo Candle gift directly to a
family member or friend?

can get your image in a digital form, we can produce a Photo Candle
for you with your image inside.
